Carson preached a series of messages on Thessalonians at College Church in Wheaton last Sunday. A friend’s son was in attendance and commented on their value.

2008 CT Book Awards.

Environment and sexual orientation.

Good news from the sand box.

The Brits are brilliant coming up with stories like these here and here. I always wonder how much was paid for the research. What I do appreciate the BBC for is consistent reporting from around the globe–it looks like things are progressing in Kenya. I have XM Satellite radio and listen on the morning commute to portions of Fox and Friends and the BBC. It is like switching between the children and the adults respectively. One may not like what the adults are talking about, but at least it is an intelligent conversation.

Looks like the MacBook Air is a hit if you know its niche. Charlie Rose got quite the shiner when he decided to protect his Air at the expense of his face.

Just click.

Ha, no more out of context than this piece from the Boston Globe as quoted in the London Times (dateline…16 Dec. 1773):

“The colonists expressed their deep appreciation for the kindness expressed to them by the British Navy….” part left out “….whose sailors graciously got out of the way so they could throw their entire cargo of 342 chests of tea into Boston Harbor.”

Thanks…we really weren’t going to make the switch until we had our act together in its entirety, but the moment presented itself and couldn’t be resisted. We still have some experimenting to do, but we’re getting there.
